UPS plans to hire workers in Iowa for about 1,500 seasonal positions, roughly 260 of which will be based out of Coralville, Hiawatha and Cedar Rapids, a company spokesperson said Monday. Susan Rosenberg, public relations director for the Georgia-based company, said the positions are primarily part-time for package handlers and driver-helpers, as well as some seasonal drivers. Pay for the jobs ranges from $10.10 an hour for package handlers to $26 an hour for tractor trailer drivers.
